CONFIRMATION OF LAWS (JERSEY) LAW, 1945.

A LAW                     entitled Confirmation of Laws (Jersey) Law, 1945, sanctioned by Order of His Majesty in Council of the

14th day of AUGUST, 1945.

WHEREAS the Acts specified in the first column of the Schedule to this Law, having been passed by the States of Jersey, were registered by the Royal Court of Jersey on the dates respectively specified in relation thereto in the second column of that Schedule;

AND WHEREAS the assent of His Majesty in Council has not hitherto been signified to the said Acts;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the said Acts should have effect as if such assent had been signified;

NOW THEREFORE, the States, subject to the sanction of His Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

ARTICLE 1

The Acts specified in the Schedule to this Law shall have effect, and shall be deemed always to have had effect as if the assent of His Majesty had been signified thereto and shall be deemed to have been duly registered accordingly on the dates respectively specified in relation thereto in the second column of that Schedule.

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Confirmation of Laws (Jersey) Law, 1945.
