A LAW     to amend the Computer Misuse (Jersey) Law 1995, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

17th day of DECEMBER 1997

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

After Article 2 of the Computer Misuse (Jersey) Law 19951 there shall be inserted the following Article –

“ARTICLE 2A

Saving for certain law enforcement powers

Paragraph (1) of Article 2 has effect without prejudice to the operation of any enactment or rule of law relating to powers of examination, search or seizure.”.

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Computer Misuse (Amendment) (Jersey) Law 1998.
