COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND (PROCEDURE) (AMENDMENT No. 2) (JERSEY) LAW, 1970.

A LAW   to amend further the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Procedure) (Jersey) Law, 1961, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

 

17th day of DECEMBER, 1970.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

ARTICLE 1

In paragraph (1) of Article 9 of the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Procedure) (Jersey) Law, 1961,1 as amended,2 after sub-paragraph (b) there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph –

“(bb) where the land is severed from other land in the same ownership and the value of the retained land is reduced by reason of the severance, the amount of the reduction shall be taken into account;”.

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Procedure) (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law, 1970.
