TOURISM (AMENDMENT No. 5) (JERSEY) LAW 1990

A LAW     to amend further the Tourism (Jersey) Law 1948, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

 

14th day of February 1990

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

For paragraph (1) of Article 10 of the Tourism (Jersey) Law 1948, as amended,1 there shall be substituted the following paragraph –

“(1)        Every application for the registration or for the renewal of the registration of any premises (whether or not such premises are required by this Law to be registered) shall –

(a)     be in the form required from time to time by the Committee;

(b)     in the case of an application for registration, specify the register in which the applicant desires the premises to be registered;

(c)     in the case of an application for renewal of registration specify the register in which the premises are registered;

(d)     be accompanied by a scale of charges which the applicant proposes to make in the period to which the application relates;

(e)     contain, or be accompanied by, such other particulars as the Committee may require;

(f)      be accompanied by such fee as may be prescribed.”.

ARTICLE 2

(1)           This Law may be cited as the Tourism (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Law 1990

(2)           This Law shall come into force on such day as the States may by Act appoint.
