THE STATES, subject to the sanction of
Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law: -
ARTICLE 1
The Tourism (Jersey) Law, 1948, as amended, shall be
further amended in the manner set out in the Schedule to this Law.
ARTICLE 2
This Law may be cited as the Tourism (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey)
Law, 1978.

SCHEDULE
1. In
Article 12, paragraph (2) of Article 24, and paragraphs (1) and (2) of Article
31 for the words “one hundred pounds” there shall be substituted
the words “one thousand pounds”.
2. In
Article 12 for the words “five pounds” there shall be substituted
the words “fifty pounds”.
3. In
paragraph (2) of Articles 16, 17 and 26 for the words “twenty
pounds” there shall be substituted the words “two hundred
pounds”.
4. In
paragraph (2) of Articles 16, 17, 26 and 27 and paragraph (3) of Article 27 for
the words “one pound” there shall be substituted the words
“ten pounds”.
5. In
paragraph (3) of Articles 19 and 23 and paragraph (4) of Article 20 for the
words “fifty pounds” there shall be substituted the words
“five hundred pounds”.
6. In
paragraphs (2) and (3) of Article 27 and paragraph (1) of Article 32 for the
words “ten pounds” there shall be substituted the words “one
hundred pounds”.
