A LAW     to amend the Highways (Jersey) Law, 1956, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

30th day of MAY, 1963.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

ARTICLE 1

(1)           In paragraph (1) of Article 4 of the Highways (Jersey) Law, 1956,1 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”), for the words “below or above (but not on)” there shall be substituted the words “below, on or above”.

(2)           In paragraph (4) of the said Article 4, for the words “below or above” there shall be substituted the words “below, on or above”.

(3)           In paragraph (5) of the said Article 4,2 for the words “below or above” there shall be substituted the words “below, on or above”.

ARTICLE 2

In Article 6 of the principal Law,3 after the words “authorized to be served under” there shall be inserted the words “or for the purposes of”.

ARTICLE 3

This Law may be cited as the Highways (Amendment) (Jersey) Law, 1963.
