(AMENDMENT No. 2) (JERSEY) LAW 1994

A LAW to amend further the Food and Drugs (Jersey) Law 1966, sanctioned
by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the
15th day of march 1994

THE
STATES, subject to
the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the
following Law –
ARTICLE 1
In paragraph (1)
of Article 1 of the Food and Drugs (Jersey) Law 1966, as amended –
(a) after the definition of
“drug” there shall be inserted the following definition –
“
‘fish’ includes crustaceans and molluscs;”;
and
(b) in the definition of
“food”, for paragraph (a) there shall be substituted the following
paragraph –
“(a) live animals, or live fish which
are not used for human consumption while they are alive;”.
ARTICLE 2
This Law may be
cited as the Food and Drugs (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law 1994.
