AGRICULTURAL MARKETING (AMENDMENT No. 5) (JERSEY) LAW 1991

A LAW       to amend further the Agricultural Marketing (Jersey) Law 1953, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

In sub-paragraph (ba) of Article 8 of the Agricultural Marketing (Jersey) Law 1953, as amended,1 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”) for the words “one hundred pounds”, in both places, and “twenty-five pounds” there shall be substituted the words “one thousand pounds” and “four hundred pounds” respectively;

ARTICLE 2

In Article 23 of the principal Law2

(a)     in paragraph (1) the words “not exceeding two hundred pounds sterling” shall be deleted; and

(b)     in paragraph (2) for the words “twenty-five pounds sterling”, in both places, and “ten pounds sterling” there shall be substituted the words “one thousand pounds” and “four hundred pounds” respectively.

ARTICLE 3

The Agricultural Marketing (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Law 19833 is repealed.

ARTICLE 4

This Law may be cited as the Agricultural Marketing (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Law 1991.
