A LAW to amend further the Motor Traffic
(Third-Party Insurance) (Jersey) Law 1948, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty
in Council of the
8th day of FEBRUARY
1995

THE
STATES, subject to
the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the
following Law –
ARTICLE 1
In Article 4 of
the Motor Traffic (Third-Party Insurance) (Jersey) Law 1948, as amended –
(a) in paragraph (2), for
the word “The” at the beginning there shall be substituted the
words “Subject to paragraph (3) of this Article, the”; and
(b) after paragraph (2)
there shall be inserted the following paragraph –
“(3) The
Committee may by order prescribe in relation to any person or class of person
circumstances in, or conditions subject to, which the requirements of
sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (2) of this Article may be varied or
waived.”.
ARTICLE 2
This Law may be
cited as the Motor Traffic (Third-Party Insurance) (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey)
Law 1995.
