amend further the Motor Traffic (Jersey) Law, 1935, sanctioned by Order of Her
Majesty in Council of the
30th day of MARCH, 1979.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of
Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law: -
ARTICLE 1
(1) In
paragraph (4) of Article 38 of the Motor Traffic (Jersey) Law, 1935, as amended (hereinafter referred to as “the principal
Law”) for the words “the sum of five shillings” there shall
be substituted the words “such sum as the States may by Regulations
specify”.
(2) In
the proviso to paragraph (5) of Article 38 of the principal Law for the words
“a sum of five shillings” there shall be substituted the words
“such sum as the States may by Regulations specify”.
ARTICLE 2
This Law may be cited as the Motor Traffic (Amendment No. 11)
(Jersey) Law, 1979, and shall come into force on such day as the States may by
Act appoint.
