Banking Business (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Law 2007

A LAW to amend further the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991.

Sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council    7th February 2007

Registered by the Royal Court                                   2nd March 2007

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

1        Article 1 of the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991 amended

In Article 1 of the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991[1], in the definition “relevant supervisory authority”, for the word “Minister” there shall be substituted the word “Commission”.

2        Citation and commencement

This Law may be cited as the Banking Business (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Law 2007 and shall come into force 7 days after it is registered.
