AGRICULTURAL LAND (CONTROL OF SALES AND LEASES) (AMENDMENT No. 3) (JERSEY) LAW 1992

A LAW   to amend further the Agricultural Land (Control of Sales and Leases) (Jersey) Law 1974 sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

In paragraph (2) of Article 2 of the Agricultural Land (Control of Sales and Leases) (Jersey) Law 1974,1 as amended,2 after the words “in the Island” there shall be inserted the following words –

“,and ensuring that any lease of agricultural land is on terms that encourage the continued cultivation of the land in accordance with the principles of good husbandry”.

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Agricultural Land (Control of Sales and Leases) (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Law 1992.
