amend further the Social Security (Jersey) Law, 1974, sanctioned by Order of
Her Majesty in Council of the
30th day of july, 1982.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of
Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law: -
ARTICLE
1
For sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 5 of the Second Schedule to the
Social Security (Jersey) Law, 1974, as
amended, there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph –
“(1) The
contribution conditions for maternity grant are that the relevant person has
paid contributions prior to the end of the relevant quarter and the annual
contribution factor derived from those contributions is not less than
0.25.”.
ARTICLE
2
This Law may be cited as the Social Security (Amendment No. 2)
(Jersey) Law, 1982.
