amend the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law, 1978, sanctioned by Order of Her
Majesty in Council of the
27th day of JULY, 1983.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of
Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law: -
In paragraph (2) of Article 17 of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law,
1978 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”)
for the words “to seize and detain those drugs” there shall be
substituted the words “or that a document so found is such a document as
is mentioned in sub-paragraph (b) of this paragraph, to seize and detain those
drugs or that document, as the case may be”.
ARTICLE

In sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph 1 of the Second Schedule to the
Law for the word “N-alkyl-µ-methylphenethylamine”,
in the second place where it occurs, there shall be substituted the word
“N-Alkyl-µ-ethylphenethylamine”.
ARTICLE

This Law may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Amendment) (Jersey)
Law, 1983.
