MISUSE OF DRUGS (AMENDMENT) (JERSEY) LAW, 1983

A LAW           to amend the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law, 1978, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

In paragraph (2) of Article 17 of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law, 19781 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”) for the words “to seize and detain those drugs” there shall be substituted the words “or that a document so found is such a document as is mentioned in sub-paragraph (b) of this paragraph, to seize and detain those drugs or that document, as the case may be”.

ARTICLE 2

In sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph 1 of the Second Schedule to the Law2 for the word “N-alkyl-µ-methylphenethylamine”, in the second place where it occurs, there shall be substituted the word “N-Alkyl-µ-ethylphenethylamine”.

ARTICLE 3

This Law may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Amendment) (Jersey) Law, 1983.
