A LAW   to amend the Building Loans (Jersey) Law, 1950, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

ARTICLE 1

In Article 7 of the Building Loans (Jersey) Law, 1950,1 as amended,2 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”), immediately after the word “or”, where that word first occurs, there shall be inserted the words “save as may otherwise be provided by regulations made under Article 15 of this Law,”.

ARTICLE 2

In sub-paragraph (e) of paragraph (1) of Article 12 of the principal Law,3 the words “in accordance with the provisions of sub-paragraph (d) of this paragraph” shall be deleted.

ARTICLE 3

This Law may be cited as the Building Loans (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law, 1954, and this Law and the principal Law may be cited together as the Building Loans (Jersey) Laws, 1950 to 1954.
