HEALTH INSURANCE (AMENDMENT No. 3) (JERSEY) LAW, 1970.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law:  -

ARTICLE 1

After sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (2) of Article 26 of the Health Insurance (Jersey) Law, 1967,1 as amended, there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph –

“(c)      for extinguishing the right to any sum payable by way of benefit where payment thereof is not obtained within six months or such other period as may be prescribed from the time at which that sum is receivable in accordance with the order.”

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Health Insurance (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Law, 1970, and this Law, the Health Insurance (Jersey) Law, 1967, the Health Insurance (Amendment) (Jersey) Law, 1968, and the Health Insurance (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Law, 1969, may be cited together as the Health Insurance (Jersey) Laws, 1967 to 1970.
