amend the Fire Precautions (Jersey) Law 1977; sanctioned by Order of Her
Majesty in Council of the
22nd day of MAY 2002

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council,
have adopted the following Law -
ARTICLE 1
For
Article 15(1) of the Fire Precautions (Jersey) Law 1977 there shall be substituted the following paragraph -
“(1) The Committee may by Order -
(a) prescribe anything that
by this Law is to be prescribed; and
(b) prescribe fees to be
paid on the application for and the issue or amendment of fire
certificates.”.
ARTICLE 2
A
provision of the Fire Precautions (Jersey) Law 1977 specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Law shall be amended
by deleting from it the words specified in column 2 of that Schedule and
substituting the words specified in column 3.
ARTICLE 3
This
Law may be cited as the Fire Precautions (Amendment) (Jersey)
Law 2002 and shall come into force on the seventh day following its
registration.
