A LAW to amend the Civil Proceedings (Jersey) Law,
1956, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the
25th day of JULY, 1974.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of
Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law: -
ARTICLE 1
For paragraph (2) of Article 3 of the Civil Proceedings (Jersey)
Law, 1956, there shall be substituted the
following paragraph –
“(2) Where
costs are ordered to be paid under this Article they shall be taxed by the
Judicial Greffier unless the amount of such costs has been specified by the
Court or agreed between the parties.”
ARTICLE 2
This Law may be cited as the Civil Proceedings (Amendment) (Jersey)
Law, 1974.
