COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND (PROCEDURE) (AMENDMENT No. 6) (JERSEY) LAW 1995

A LAW       to amend further the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Procedure) (Jersey) Law 1961, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

In Article 16 of the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Procedure) (Jersey) Law 1961,1 as amended –

(a)     in paragraph (1) for the words “or a ‘dégrèvement’ ” there shall be substituted the words “, a ‘dégrèvement’ or an order made under Article 17 of the Bankruptcy (Désastre) (Jersey) Law 19902;”; and

(b)     after paragraph (3) there shall be inserted the following paragraph –

“(4)         References in paragraph (1) of this Article to the public shall be construed as references to the public and to any successor in title to the public.”.

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Procedure) (Amendment No. 6) (Jersey) Law 1995.
