STATUTE LAW REVISION (No. 5) (JERSEY) LAW, 1980.

A LAW           to revise enactments passed between 1951 and 1960 by repealing those which have ceased to be in force or which have become obsolete, spent or unnecessary, and to facilitate the citation of enactments remaining in force, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

The enactments mentioned in the first column of the First Schedule to this Law, which, to the extent specified in the second column of the said Schedule, have ceased to be in force or have become obsolete, spent or unnecessary, are hereby repealed to that extent.

ARTICLE 2

Each of the enactments mentioned in the first column of the Second Schedule to this Law may, without prejudice to any other mode of citation, be cited by the title mentioned opposite thereto in the second column of that Schedule.

ARTICLE 3

This Law may be cited as the Statute Law Revision (No. 5) (Jersey) Law, 1980.
