A LAW       to amend the constitution of the Emergencies Council, sanctioned by Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

26th day of JUNE 1996

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –

ARTICLE 1

In sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (1) of Article 1 of the Emergency Powers and Planning (Jersey) Law 19901 –

(a)     before the words “Defence Committee” there shall be inserted the words “Policy and Resources Committee,”;

(b)     for the words “Public Health” there shall be substituted the words “Health and Social Services”.

ARTICLE 2

This Law may be cited as the Emergency Powers and Planning (Amendment) (Jersey) Law 1996.
