ARCHITECTS (REGISTRATION) (AMENDMENT) (JERSEY) LAW, 1986.

A LAW to
amend the Architects (Registration) (Jersey) Law, 1954, sanctioned by Order of
Her Majesty in Council of the
5th day of
November, 1986.

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of
Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the following Law –
ARTICLE
1
In Article 1 of the Architects (Registration) (Jersey) Law, 1954 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal
Law”) the definition of “the appointed day” shall be deleted.
ARTICLE
2
In Article 2 of the principal Law –
(a) in
paragraph (1) the words ”, on or after the appointed day,” shall be
deleted;
(b) in
paragraph (2) for the words “fifty pounds sterling” and “ten
pounds sterling” there shall be substituted the words “five hundred
pounds” and “fifty pounds” respectively.
ARTICLE
3
In paragraph (1) of Article 3 of the principal Law the words “Subject as provided by Article 4
of this Law” shall be deleted.
ARTICLE
4
Article 4 of the principal Law is hereby
repealed.
ARTICLE
5
In Article 8 of the principal Law for the
words “one hundred pounds sterling or to imprisonment for a term not
exceeding one year” there shall be substituted the words “one
thousand pounds or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or to
both such fine and such imprisonment”.
ARTICLE
6
This Law may be cited as the Architects (Registration) (Amendment)
(Jersey) Law, 1986.
