Order of Her Majesty in Council of the

THE
STATES, subject to
the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, have adopted the
following Law –
ARTICLE 1
For the first
proviso to paragraph (2) of Article 5 of the Royal Court (Jersey) Law 1948, as
amended, there shall be substituted the
following proviso –
“Provided
that a member of the Bar or a solicitor shall cease to be a member of the
Electoral College from the day upon which he is appointed as Viscount, Judicial
Greffier or Greffier of the
States:”.
ARTICLE 2
This Law may be
cited as the Royal Court (Amendment No. 7) (Jersey) Law 1993 and shall come
into force on such day as the States may by Act appoint.
