THE MINISTER FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS makes this Order under Regulation
6 of the European Union (Financial Services – Miscellaneous Amendments)
(Jersey) Regulations 2019[1], Regulation 7 of the European
Union (United Kingdom Exit – Miscellaneous Amendments) (Jersey) Regulations 2019[2] and Regulation 8 of the
Intellectual Property (Unregistered Rights) (Application, Transitional
Provisions and Savings) (Amendment) (Jersey) Regulations 2019[3] –
1 Commencement of certain Regulations related to United Kingdom
ceasing to be a member State of the European Union
The following Regulations come into force
at 11p.m. on 31st January 2020 –
(a) the European Union
(United Kingdom Exit – Miscellaneous Amendments) (Jersey) Regulations 2019[4];
(b) Regulations 1 and 4 of
the European Union (Financial Services – Miscellaneous Amendments) (Jersey)
Regulations 2019[5];
(c) Regulations 1, 6, 7 and 8
of the Intellectual Property (Unregistered Rights) (Application, Transitional
Provisions and Savings) (Amendment) (Jersey) Regulations 2019[6].
2 Citation
This Order may be cited as the European Union (Regulations Related
to United Kingdom Exit – Commencement) (Jersey) Order 2020.
