Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Amendment) (Jersey) Act 2011

Coming into force                                                   21st January 2011

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 2 of the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Law 1951[1], have made the following Act –

1        Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act 2010 amended

In Part 2 of the Schedule to the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act 2010[2] before paragraph 1 there shall be inserted the following paragraph –

“A1   2011: Royal wedding

Friday 29th April 2011 is to be observed as a public holiday.”.

2        Citation and commencement

This Act may be cited as the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Amendment) (Jersey) Act 2011 and shall come into force on the day after the day it is made.
