Misuse of Drugs
(Modification) (Jersey) Order 2003

THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 3 and
25 of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law 1978,[1] as
amended (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), and after
consultation with the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, orders as follows –
1 Amendment of Part I of the Second Schedule
to the Law
Paragraph 1(a) of Part I of the Second
Schedule to the Law[2] shall be amended by
inserting the following substances and products in their correct alphabetical
positions:
Allyl(α-methyl-3,4-methylenedioxyphenethyl)amine
2-Amino-1-(2,5-dimethoxy-4-methylphenyl)ethanol
2-Amino-1-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethanol
Benzyl(α-methyl-3,4-methylenedioxyphenethyl)amine

2 Amendment of Part II of the Second Schedule to the Law
Paragraph 1(a) of Part II of the Second Schedule to the Law[3] shall be amended by
inserting after the item “Zipeprol” the item “α-Methylphenethyl-hydroxylamine (also known as N-Hydroxyamphetamine)”.
3 Amendment of Part III of the Second Schedule to the Law
(1) Paragraph
1 of Part III of the Second Schedule to the Law[4] shall be amended by
inserting after the item “Triazolam” the item
“Zolpidem”.
(2) Part
III of the Second Schedule to the Law shall be amended by inserting after
paragraph 7 the following paragraph –
“7A. 4-Androstene-3, 17-Dione;
19-Nor-4-Androstene-3,
17-Dione;
5-Androstene-3,
17-Diol; and
19-Nor-5- Androstene-3,
17-Diol.”.
4 Citation
This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Modification)
(Jersey) Order 2003.
