Misuse of Drugs (Designation) (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Order 2003

THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 10 and 25 of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law 1978,[1] as amended, and after consultation with the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, orders as follows –

1        Amendment of Part 1 of the Schedule

Paragraph (1)(a) of Part I of the Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs (Designation) (Jersey) Order 1989,[2] as amended[3] (referred to in this Order as “the principal Order”) shall be amended by inserting the following items in their correct alphabetical positions –

Allyl(α-methyl-3,4-methylenedioxyphenethyl)amine

2-Amino-1-(2,5-dimethoxy-4-methylphenyl)ethanol

2-Amino-1-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethanol

2        Amendment of Part II of the Schedule

Paragraph 1 of Part II of the Schedule to the principal Order shall be amended by inserting the item “Remifentanil” after the item “Lofentanil”.

3        Citation

This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Designation) (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Order 2003.
