(Amendment of Law and Miscellaneous Revocations) (Jersey) Order 2017

THE MINISTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, in pursuance of Articles 2(2)(a), 3(2) and 32(2) of the Animal Health (Jersey) Law 2016[1], orders as follows –
1 Schedule 1 amended
(1) In
Schedule 1 to the Animal Health (Jersey) Law 2016[2] there shall be inserted in the appropriate alphabetical position, the
following entries –
“Equine Viral
Encephalomyelitis
Porcine Epidemic
Diarrhoea”.
(2) In
Schedule 2, Part 1 for the 4 entries beginning “Brucella” there shall be substituted the
following entry –
2 Revocations
The following Orders are revoked –
(a) Artificial
Insemination of Domestic Animals (Jersey) Order 2008[3];
(b) Contagious
Abortion (Jersey) Order 1958[4];
(c) Diseases
of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Jersey) Order 1958[5];
(d) Diseases
of Animals (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Jersey) Order 2016[6];
(e) Exportation
of Horses (Exception) (Jersey) Order 1978[7];
(f) Miscellaneous
Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Order 1991[8];
(g) Psittacosis
(Jersey) Order 1958[9].
3 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Animal Health (Amendment of Law and
Miscellaneous Revocations) (Jersey) Order 2017 and shall come into force
on 1st February 2017.
