                THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 84 of the Marriage and Civil Status (Jersey) Law 2001[1] have made the following Act -

                1.      The Marriage and Civil Status (Jersey) Law 2001 shall come into force on the 1st day of May 2002.

                2.      This Act may be cited as the Marriage and Civil Status (Jersey) Law 2001 (Appointed Day) Act 2002.
