1 Schedule 1 to the Social Security
(Contributions) (Jersey) Order 1975 amended
(1) After
paragraph 13 of Schedule 1 to the Social Security (Contributions) (Jersey)
Order 1975[2] there shall be added the
following paragraph –
“14 Transitional arrangements in 2012
Notwithstanding paragraphs 5
to 9 and 11, the value (if any) attributable to a benefit in kind provided on
or after 1st January 2012 but before 1st July 2012 shall be
determined, for the purpose of calculating a Class 1 insured
person’s earnings, in the like manner as the value (if any) attributable
to a benefit in kind provided in 2011 to a Class 1 insured
person.”.
(2) After
paragraph 4 of Schedule 2 to the Social Security (Contributions)
(Jersey) Order 1975 there shall be added the following
paragraph –
“5 Transitional
arrangements in 2012
Notwithstanding paragraph 2,
the value (if any) attributable to a benefit in kind provided on or after 1st
January 2012 but before 1st July 2012 shall be determined, for the purposes
of calculating a Class 2 insured person’s income from
self-employment, in the like manner as the value (if any) attributable to a
benefit in kind provided in 2011 to a Class 2 insured person.”.
2 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions)
(Amendment No. 12) (Jersey) Order 2012 and shall come into force on
the day after the day it is made.
