THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 21
and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as
follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order “principal Order”
means the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (Jersey) Order 2003[2].
2 Schedule 1
amended
In Schedule 1 to the principal Order, in the entries under the
heading “St. Brelade”, in the entry for “La Rue de
la Sergenté”, for the words “164 yards” there are
substituted the words “320 yards”.
3 Schedule 2
amended
In Schedule 2 to the principal Order –
(a) in the entries under the heading “St. Helier”,
after the entry for “La Rue de Trachy”
there is inserted the following entry –
(b) in the entries under the heading
“St. Saviour” –
(i) after the entry for “Belvedere Hill”, there is
inserted the following entry –
(ii) after the entry for “Maison
St. Louis”, there is inserted the following entry –
4 Schedule 3
amended
In Schedule 3 to the principal Order, in the entries under the
heading “St. Lawrence”, in the entry for “La Rue de
l’Eglise” the words “(from its southern end northwards to its
junction with La Ruelle)” are deleted.
5 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits)
(Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Order 2015 and shall come into force
7 days after the day on which it is made.
