Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Designation of Supervisory Bodies) (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Order 2013

THE MINISTER FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, in pursuance of Article 6 of the Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Jersey) Law 2008[1], and on the recommendation of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, orders as follows –

1        Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Designation of Supervisory Bodies) (Jersey) Order 2008 amended

For Article 3 of the Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Designation of Supervisory Bodies) (Jersey) Order 2008[2], there is substituted the following Article –

“3      Lawyers

The Commission shall not exercise supervisory functions after 19th March 2016 in respect of any specified Schedule 2 business that falls within item 8 of the table in the Schedule to the principal Law.”.

2        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Designation of Supervisory Bodies) (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Order 2013 and comes into force 7 days after it is made.
