Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002 (Appointed Day) (No. 2) Act 2006

Coming into force                                                 28th February 2006

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 74(2) of the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002[1], have made the following Act –

1        Commencement of further provisions of Articles 6 and 7 of Law

Article 6(6) and Article 7(1) (except sub-paragraph (b)), (2), (3) and (5) of the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002 shall come into force on 21st March 2006.

2        Commencement of Article 7(1)(b) of Law

Sub-paragraph (b) of Article 7(1) of the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002 shall come into force on 1st January 2007.

3        Citation

This Act may be cited as the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002 (Appointed Day) (No. 2) Act 2006.
