Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Act 2022

THE STATES make this Act under Article 2 of the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Law 1951 –

1        Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act 2010 amended

For the text in Part 2 of the Schedule to the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act 2010 there is substituted –

“2022: Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

In 2022 –

(a)     despite paragraph 5(3) of Part 1, Thursday 2nd June is to be observed as a public holiday instead of the last Monday in May; and

(b)     Friday 3rd June is to be observed as a public holiday.”.

2        Citation and commencement

This Act may be cited as the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Act 2022 and comes into force 7 days after it is made.
