(Jersey) Order 2013

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 62,
63 and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], and after consultation with the
Connétable of St. Helier, orders as follows –
1 Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996 amended
(1) The
Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996[2] is amended as set out in
this Order.
(2) Accordingly,
a reference in this Order to a Schedule by number is a reference to the
Schedule of that number in the Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996[3].
2 Schedule 1
amended
In Schedule 1 –
(a) in
Part 1, for the item relating to Oxford Road (between Stopford Road and a
point 10 yards south), there is substituted the following item –
|
“Oxford Road (between L’Avenue et Dolmen du Pré
des Lumières and Stopford Road)
|
L’Avenue et Dolmen du Pré
des Lumières to Stopford Road”;
|
(b) in
Part 3, for the item relating to Oxford Road (between Stopford Road and a
point 10 yards south), there is substituted the following item –
|
“Oxford Road (between L’Avenue et Dolmen du Pré

Pedal cycles”.

In Schedule 2, for Part 3 there is substituted the
following Part –

amended
In Schedule 4 –
(a) for
the item relating to Commercial Buildings, there is substituted the following

North and east sides (between the western boundary of No. 5
and a point 10 yards south of the northern boundary of No. 8)

the item relating to Le Geyt Street, there is inserted the following item –

In Schedule 8 –
(a) in
Part 2, for the item relating to Commercial Buildings there is substituted
the following item –

(ii) in

Part 7, for the item relating to Commercial Buildings, there is
substituted the following item –

In Part 1 of Schedule 10, in the item relating to the
Esplanade, in the 2nd column relating to the north side (between a point 188 yards
east of its junction with Castle Street etc.), for the words in the 4th column
there are substituted the words “2 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to
Saturday”.
7 Schedule 11
amended
In Schedule 11, for the item relating to Commercial Buildings,
there is substituted the following item –

South side (between a point 9 yards west of the western edge
of the northern slipway of the English Harbour to a point 6 yards
further west)
West side (between a point 145 yards south of a point 3 yards

8 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (St. Helier)
(Amendment No. 26) (Jersey) Order 2013 and comes into force 7 days
after it is made.
