THE MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS, in pursuance of Articles 61 and 62 of
the Police Procedures and Criminal Evidence (Jersey) Law 2003[1], orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order,
“Code C” means Code C in the Schedule to the Police Procedures
and Criminal Evidence (Codes of Practice) (Jersey) Order 2004[2].
2 Code C amended
(1) In Code C,
in “Meaning of Terms” –
(a) under
the heading “police station” for the words beginning with
“References to a police station” and ending with the words “Western
Sub-Station” there are substituted the following words –
“References to a police
station other than Jersey Police Headquarters Building will
include –”;
(b) under
the heading “Designated police station”, for the words “Rouge
Bouillon police station” there are substituted the words “Jersey
Police Headquarters Building situated in La Route du Fort, St. Helier”.
(2) In paragraph 2.1(e)
of Code C, for the words “Rouge Bouillon Station” there are
substituted the words “Jersey Police Headquarters Building”.
3 Transitional
provision
Rouge Bouillon police station shall continue to operate as a
designated police station until noon on 8th March 2017.
4 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Police Procedures and Criminal
Evidence (Codes of Practice) (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Order 2017
and shall come into force on 8th March 2017.
