(Jersey) Order 2017

THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, in pursuance of Articles 4 and 84 of
the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –
1 Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Jersey) Order 2003 amended
In Article 3 of the Motor Vehicles
(Driving Licences) (Jersey) Order 2003[2] –
(a) for paragraph (1)(d) there shall be substituted the
following sub-paragraph –
(i) an application
submitted in paper form, 45 mm by 35 mm and printed on normal
photographic paper, or
(ii) an
application submitted as an electronic communication, a digital or scanned
photograph at 1200 dpi resolution or better;”;
(b) in paragraph (3) –
(i) at the end of sub-paragraph (a) there shall be added
the word “and”,
(ii) in sub-paragraph (b) for the word “; and”
there shall be substituted a full stop,
(iii) sub-paragraph (c) shall be deleted;
(c) after paragraph (3) there shall be added the following
paragraph –
“(4) In paragraph (1)(d)(ii) ‘electronic communication’ has the
meaning given by Article 1(1) of the Electronic Communications (Jersey)
Law 2000[3].”.
2 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as
the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey)
Order 2017 and shall come into force 7 days after it is made.
