THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 62 and
84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], and after consultation with the
Connétable of St. Lawrence, orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order a reference to a numbered
Schedule is a reference to the Schedule of that number in the Road Traffic (St.
Lawrence) (Jersey) Order 1990[2].
2 Schedule
3 amended
In Part 1 of Schedule 3 (prohibition of waiting), after the item and
entry relating to “La Rue” there shall be inserted the following
item and entries –
|
“La Rue de la Blanche Pierre
|
North Side (from its junction with La Vallée de St. Pierre to
a point 28 yards east).
|
|
|
South side (from its junction with with La Vallée de St.
Pierre to a point 21 yards east).”.
|

4 amended
In Schedule 4 (roads closed to through traffic) after the item and
entry relating to “Ruelle Corbel” there shall be added the
following item and entry –
|
“The unnamed road that runs between Sandybrook Lane and La
Vallée de St. Pierre
|
Throughout its length.”.

5 amended
In Part 3 of Schedule 5 (roads not to be used by vehicles exceeding
6 feet 6 inches in width) –
(a) before
the item and entry relating to “La Rue de la Scelletterie” there
shall be inserted the following item and entry –
|
“La Rue de Haut
|
In both directions, from its junction with La Vallée de St.
Pierre to its junction with La Route de St. Aubin.”;
|
(b) after
the item and entry relating to “Le Hucquet” there shall be added
the following item and entry –
|
“Le Mont Cambrai
|
In both directions from its junction with Le Mont Felard to its
junction with La Rue de Haut.”.

5 Schedule
6 amended
In Part 2 of Schedule 6 (duration of parking on certain roads) after
the item and entry relating to “La Route de L’Eglise” there
shall be inserted the following item and entry –
|
“Les Charrières Malorey
|
East side (from a point 10 yards north of its junction with La Rue
du Cap Verde to a point 66 yards further north).”.
|
6 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (St. Lawrence)
(Amendment No. 20) (Jersey) Order 2007 and shall come into force 7 days
after it is made.
