(Jersey) Order 2006

THE MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS, in pursuance of Article 15 of the Police
(Complaints and Discipline Procedure) (Jersey) Law 1999[1], orders as follows –
1 Paragraph
5 of Schedule to the Police (Complaints and Discipline Procedure) (Jersey)
Order 2000 substituted
For paragraph 5 of the Schedule to the Police (Complaints and
Discipline Procedure) (Jersey) Order 2000[2] there is substituted the
following paragraph –
5 Use of force and abuse of
authority
Officers must not use more
force than is reasonable, nor should they abuse their authority.
2 Citation
and commencement
(1) This
Order may be cited as the Police (Complaints and Discipline Procedure)
(Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Order 2006.
(2) It
shall come into effect 7 days after it is made.
