THE STATES, in pursuance of Articles 7 and 72 of the Public Elections (Jersey) Law
2002[1], have made the following
Regulations –
1 Regulation
2 amended
For Regulation 2(1A) of
the Public Elections (Jersey) Regulations 2002[2] there shall be substituted the following paragraph –
“(1A) For the purposes of
Article 7(2)(a) of the Law, the prescribed form of statement is Form 1A.”.
2 Form 1A substituted
For Form 1A in the Schedule to the Public
Elections (Jersey) Regulations 2002 there shall be substituted the form set out
in the Schedule to these Regulations.
3 Citation
and commencement
(1) These
Regulations may be cited as the Public Elections (Amendment No. 3)
(Jersey) Regulations 2009.
(2) These
Regulations shall come into force 7 days after they are made.
