Harbours (Amendment No. 37) (Jersey) Regulations 2004

Made                                                                            11th May 2004

Coming into force                         in accordance with Regulation 3(2)

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Harbours (Administration) (Jersey) Law 1961,[1] have made the following Regulations –

1        Regulation 4 amended

In Regulation 4(1)(b) of the Harbours (Jersey) Regulations 1962,[2] for “the position in which” there shall be substituted “the time at, and the position in which,”.

2        Regulation 7 repealed and replaced

Regulation 7 of the Harbours (Jersey) Regulations 1962[3] is repealed and the following Regulation substituted –

“7      Collision regulations

The master of a vessel within a harbour must observe and obey the Regulations for preventing collisions at sea made in pursuance of the Shipping (Jersey) Law 2002.[4]”.

3        Citation

(1)     These Regulations may be cited as the Harbours (Amendment No. 37) (Jersey) Regulations 2004.

(2)     They shall come into force on the same day as the Shipping (Jersey) Law 2002.
