Royal Court (Amendment No. 22) Rules 2018

THE SUPERIOR NUMBER OF THE ROYAL COURT, in pursuance of Article 13 of the Royal Court (Jersey) Law 1948[1], has made the following Rules –

1        Interpretation

In these Rules “principal Rules” means the Royal Court Rules 2004[2].

2        Rule 18/4 amended

In Rule 18/4 of the principal Rules –

(a)     in paragraph (3) –

(i)      sub-paragraph (b) is deleted;

(ii)      for sub-paragraph (e) the following sub-paragraph is substituted –

“(e)    conform to such other requirements as to form, layout and content as are specified by practice directions;”;

(iii)     sub-paragraph (f) is deleted;

(iv)     at the end of sub-paragraph (g), the word “and” is added;

(v)     sub-paragraph (h) is deleted;

(b)     paragraph (12) is deleted.

3        Schedule 6 deleted

Schedule 6 to the principal Rules is deleted.

4        Citation and commencement

These Rules may be cited as the Royal Court (Amendment No. 22) Rules 2018 and shall come into force on the seventh day after they are made.
