THE MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS, in pursuance of Articles 50 and 57
of the Firearms (Jersey) Law 2000[1], and after consultation with the
Comité des Connétables, orders as follows –
1 Amendment to enacting provision of Firearms
(General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 2011
In the enacting provision of the Firearms (General
Provisions) (Jersey) Order 2011[2], for the words “24 and
57 of the Firearms (Jersey) Law 2000” there are substituted the
words “24, 50 and 57 of the Firearms (Jersey) Law 2000[3]”.
2 Insertion
of Article 6A in Firearms (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 2011
After Article 6 of the Firearms (General Provisions) (Jersey)
Order 2011[4] there is inserted the
following Article –
“6A Fee
for visitor’s permit
(1) The fee for a visitor’s permit is
£20.
(2) Despite paragraph (1), the combined fee
for 6 or more visitor’s permits is £100, if the Chief Officer is
satisfied that all the applicants are members of a group participating in the
same event, or the same series of related events, held by or at a shooting club.”.
3 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as
the Firearms (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2016
and comes into force 7 days after it is made.
