(Jersey) Order 2013

THE MINISTER FOR SOCIAL SECURITY, in pursuance of Articles 15 and 36 of
the Health Insurance (Jersey) Law 1967[1], orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order “principal Order”
means the Health Insurance (Pharmaceutical Benefit) (General Provisions)
(No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2002[2].
2 Schedule 5
amended
In Schedule 5 to the principal Order, for item 1 there
shall be substituted the following item –
“1.

Basic dispensing
fee –
|
|
|
(a) for the period
beginning with 1st May 2013 and ending with 30th September 2013 –
|
|
|
(i) for each of the
first 20,833 items of pharmaceutical benefit supplied as described in
Article 9(1) during the period by an approved supplier
|

|
(ii) for each
subsequent item of pharmaceutical benefit supplied as described in Article 9(1)
during the period by that approved supplier
|

|
(b) for the period of
12 months beginning with 1st October 2013 and for each ensuing
period of 12 months –
|
|
|
(i) for each of the
first 50,000 items of pharmaceutical benefit supplied as described in
Article 9(1) during the period by an approved supplier
|

(ii) for each
subsequent item of pharmaceutical benefit supplied as described in
Article 9(1) during the period by that approved supplier

For the table in Schedule 6 to the principal Order there shall

4 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as
the Health Insurance (Pharmaceutical Benefit) (General Provisions) (No. 2)
(Amendment No. 10) (Jersey) Order 2013 and shall come into force on
1st May 2013.
