Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Amendment No. 10) (Jersey) Order 2015

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 59 and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –

1        Interpretation

In this Order, a reference to an Article or Schedule by number only is a reference to the Article or Schedule of that number in the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Jersey) Order 2006[2].

2        Esplanade Car Park – Shopper Zone

(1)     In Part 3 of Schedule 1, for the words “Esplanade Car Park STH3” there shall be substituted the following words –

 

“Esplanade Car Park – excluding the Shopper Zone

STH3

Esplanade Car Park – Shopper Zone only

STH3A”.

(2)     In Part 3 of Schedule 2, after the entry “STHA2” there shall be inserted the entry “STH3A”.

(3)     In Part 1 of Schedule 3, after the entry “STH3” there shall be inserted the entry “STH3A”.

3        Saint Ouen – Parish Hall and Parish Church

(1)     At the end of Part 6 of Schedule 1 there shall be added the following words –

 

“Parish Church Car Park

STO10

Parish Hall Car Park – rear only

STO11

Parish Hall Car Park – front only

STO12”.

(2)     After Part 13 of Schedule 2 there shall be added the following Parts –

“PART 14

The maximum parking period in respect of any of the following parking places on any day is a total period of 8 hours in any continuous period of 24 hours.

STO10.

PART 15

The maximum parking period in respect of the following parking places between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on any day is 6 hours during any one visit. A valid parking disc must be displayed on the vehicle during the period when it is parked there. A vehicle cannot be parked in the parking place less than one hour after the end of its last visit.

STO11.

PART 16

The maximum parking period in respect of the following parking places on any day is one hour during any one visit. A valid parking disc must be displayed on the vehicle during the period when it is parked there. A vehicle cannot be parked in the parking place less than one hour after the end of its last visit.

STO12.”.

4        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Amendment No. 10) (Jersey) Order 2015 and shall come into force 7 days after it is made.
