THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, in pursuance of Articles 4 and 84
of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –
1 Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Jersey)
Order 2003 amended
In the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences)
(Jersey) Order 2003[2] –
(a) for Article 7(2)(a) there is substituted the following
sub-paragraph –
“(a) whichever is the greater
of –
(i) £15, and
(ii) the
fee specified in Schedule 3 to be payable for the grant of a licence, less
an amount, calculated at a rate of £5 for each year, or part of a year,
for which the surrendered licence, if it had not been surrendered, would have
remained in force; and”;
(b) in Article 7(3)(a), for the amount
“£4” there is substituted the amount “£5”,
and for the amount “£10” there is substituted the amount
“£15”;
(c) in Schedule 3, for the first part of the table of fees,
entitled “Licences”, there is substituted the following part –

Grant of licence (other than a provisional licence)

Grant of provisional licence
|

|
Issue of a new licence in the place of a licence (other than a
provisional licence) that has been lost or defaced

Issue of a new licence in the place of a provisional licence that

Grant of licence free of endorsement on surrender of subsisting
licence

Additional amount payable for grant or issue of licence where
applicant requests and receives same-day service

2 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences)
(Amendment No. 15) (Jersey) Order 2017 and comes into force on 1st
May 2017.
