THE MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS, in pursuance of Articles 10 and 57 of the Firearms (Jersey) Law 2000[1], and after consultation with the Comité
des Connétables, orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order, “principal Order”
means the Firearms (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 2011[2].
2 Article
2 amended
In Article 2 of the principal Order –
(a) in paragraph (5)(b) for the word
“£35” there is substituted the word “£45”;
(b) in paragraph (9) for the word “£15”
there is substituted the word “£20”.
3 Schedule
1 amended
In Schedule 1 to the principal Order, in Part E
(Declaration) of the Application for a Firearm Certificate –
(a) under the heading “for grant or renewal of a firearm
certificate”, for the words “1) Fee of £35”
there are substituted the words “1) Fee of £45”;
(b) under the heading “for variation of a firearm
certificate”, for the words “Fee of £15 payable only”
there are substituted the words “Fee of £20 payable only”.
4 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as
the Firearms (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Order 2017
and shall come into force on 1st
May 2017.
