Misuse of Drugs
(Amendment of Schedule 2 to Law) (Jersey) Order 2010

Coming into force 2nd
June 2010
THE MINISTER FOR HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 3 and
27 of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law 1978[1], and on the recommendation of the
Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, orders as follows –
1 Schedule 2 amended
(1) In
paragraph 1(a) of Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs
(Jersey) Law 1978[2], after the entry
“Mecloqualone” there is inserted the following entry –
“Mephedrone
(4-methylmethcathinone)”.
(2) Paragraph 1(f)
of Part 3 of that Schedule is deleted.

and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Amendment of
Schedule 2 to Law) (Jersey) Order 2010 and comes into force 7 days
after it is made.
