                THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 12 of the Petroleum (Jersey) Law 1984,[1] have made the following Act -

                1.      The Petroleum (Jersey) Law 1984 shall come into force on the twelfth day of April 2001.

                2.      This Act may be cited as the Petroleum (Jersey) Law 1984 (Appointed Day) Act 2001.
