SOCIAL SECURITY (AMENDMENT No. 14) (JERSEY) LAW 2000

                THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 19(2) of the Social Security (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey) Law 2000,[1] have made the following Act -

                1.      The following provisions of the Social Security (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey) Law 2000, namely -

                (a)     Article 1;[2]

                (b)     Article 2,[3] in relation to the amendments to which paragraphs (b) and (d) of that Article refer;

                (c)     Articles 3 and 4;[4]

                (d)     Articles 5 and 7,[5] except in relation to incapacity benefit;

                (e)     Articles 9, 10, 15, 16(2), 16(3), 17(4);[6]

                (f)      Article 18(1),[7] in relation to the other provisions brought into force by this Act; and

                (g)     Articles 18(2), 18(3) and 19,[8]

shall come into force on the first day of April 2001.

                2.      This Act may be cited as the Social Security (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey) Law 2000 (Appointed Day) Act 2001.
